Meet Andrew

Andrew Velasquez is a certified Dental Nurse and cosmetic injector, passionate about anatomy, non surgical face lifts and facial balancing.  He is now one of the most progressive and approachable cosmetic injectors in London.

Andrew began his studies in Central Saint Martins London as a fashion student, earning his BA degree in woman's wear before continuing his education in Spain becoming a certified cosmetologist. He returned to London for postgraduate studies at UAL becoming a qualify Film and TV make-up artist.

It was then that he discovered his love for facial reshaping and contouring and it wasn’t until 2015 when Andrew’s career took over, he started to work not only in fashion weeks globally, but also BAFTAs, Grammys, Warner bros studios and many magazines like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar to mentioned just a few.  In 2018 he became lead artist for the iconic makeup artist Pat McGrath and it was then that Andrew refined and perfected his eye for detail and facial balancing using makeup.

With this experience in hand and after many years of working with a myriad of unique faces globally, it was time to re-train and refine a new skill, this time Andrew wanted a new career where he could change peoples lives permanently or at least for long periods of time, which is something makeup can’t provide.  It was then he qualified as a Dental Nurse and a qualified cosmetic injector. In his training Andrew learned a great deal about several aspects of cosmetic procedures, including facial balancing, age restoring and enhancing procedures.

Andrew understands the importance of continually learning new practices and constantly updating procedures which is why he has strived to continue training and learn all he can from the best international trainers and plastic surgeons.

It was in 2021 that Andrew chose to open his office on the heart of London; his new office would become Faces by Andrew. As a new injector, Andrew understands the importance of being down to earth and approachable, these attitudes have allowed him to cultivate a reputation as a warm, friendly and non-judgmental practitioner. Not only does he focus on developing new cosmetic procedures, he also has a consultation method that blends a relaxed attitude with professionalism that his patients find extremely comforting.

Being approachable is one of the cornerstones of Andrew’s success as an injector, because he knows how daunting cosmetic procedures can be, especially if it’s a situation that patients are unfamiliar with.

During the initial consultation, you will always meet with Andrew personally and you will never be rushed.  The consultation will take as long as necessary until his patient is 100% comfortable.  Andrew will listen to your concerns, answer any queries you may have and ensure that you understand what goals are realistic and achievable.

When discussing achievable results, Andrew will consider several factors including how the treatment will complement the rest of your face and help produce a look that is natural. He will also consider previous medical history and your general lifestyle.  Along side these factors and your own personal desires and needs, he will then outline a bespoke plan for your cosmetic procedure, which will include treatment expectations, recovery and all necessary aftercare.
